Weekly Update

Highlights

-We worked on expanded form, writing numbers in words and representing them as base ten blocks up to 10, 000.

- In Social studies we have begun discussing First Nations groups in Alberta

-In Science, Light and Shadow is our current unit of study.

Reminders:

-Booking for PT Interviews are going live at 4pm today. They are on Sept 19 and 20th

PT conference booking

-Parent council's 'Big Box of Cards' fundraiser information was sent home this week, prizes are being awarded for most boxes sold.

-September 26th is our Div. 2 Track and Field field trip. This will be a day long experience. Please bring permission forms ASAP.

-Many volunteers are needed for the field trip, please contact the school if you are interested. 

-Terry Fox run is on September 27th

-September 30th is Orange Shirt Day
